HIDRAULIC PRESSES

FOR PRODUCING SHEETS MADE OF THERMOPLASTIC MATERIALS: PP, PE, HDPE, UHMEWPE


The press has a movable mould for forming sheets. When the mould is out, the press is filled with the material. Then the mould is driven to the press, where the process of heating and pressing begins. After the technological cycle the mould is driven out of the press and the sheet is taken out with vacuum nozzles.

  • Spec. pressure: max. 1.200 N/cm2
  • Temperature: max. 250°C
  • Number of sections: 1 or 2
  • Number of tools: up to 4

The press-process is controlled by computer and enables the pre-set pressure-temperature-time.

  • Length: max. 11.000 mm
  • Depth: max. 400 mm

TOOL

The tool is composed of the piston and the mould. The mould has the rectangular shape and it is composed of the basic sheet and the sides. The mould can be screwed or welded. The advantages of welded mould are: long duration, minimal maintenance and easy cleaning. The piston is composed of the heating platens, supporting construction and protective frame.

PRODUCT

The main products of the presses are sheets from thermoplastic materials:PE, HDPE, UHMWPE and PP. The sheets produced in the press are distinguished by homogeneity and well-preserve shape. Compared to the extruded ones, the sheets produced in the press are more convenient for further treatment.

APPLICABILITY OF FINISHED PRODUCTS:

Good characteristics of sheets offer very general and universally application which is continuously expanding to new fields. These products are used in machine construction, paper industry, food industry, leather industry, chemical industry, construction industry (building canals and harbours), mining industry, etc.
